About the role
You will turn designs into fast, accessible interfaces that work on every device and in every language we support. You will build reusable components and care about the details users notice.
What you will do
- Build responsive interfaces with React, Next.js and Tailwind CSS
- Turn designs into accurate, reusable components
- Meet WCAG accessibility and Core Web Vitals targets
- Support multiple languages, including Arabic
- Write component and end-to-end tests
- Work closely with designers and backend developers
Minimum qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years of frontend development
- 4+ years with TypeScript and React in production
- A portfolio or GitHub of live interfaces you built
- Interfaces that meet WCAG 2.2 AA (show an audit or example)
- Core Web Vitals in the 'good' range on sites you shipped
- Component and end-to-end testing (Testing Library, Playwright)
- English at CEFR C1 or above (IELTS 7.0 or equivalent)
Expert knowledge
- Browser rendering pipeline: layout, paint, compositing and avoiding layout shift
- Accessibility in depth: ARIA patterns, focus management and screen-reader testing
- Modern CSS architecture: cascade layers, container queries and design tokens
- Internationalisation: right-to-left layouts, font loading and ICU message formats
Preferred qualifications
- Next.js App Router and Server Components in production
- IAAP WAS or CPACC accessibility certification
- Tailwind CSS v4 and design tokens
- Arabic and multilingual interfaces
