About the role
You will lead projects from initiation to handover: websites, migrations, infrastructure and software. You will manage scope, plans, risks and budgets, keep clients informed and keep teams focused.
What you will do
- Own the full project lifecycle, from initiation to deployment and handover
- Plan scope, timelines, resources and budgets
- Keep plans, risk logs, budget trackers and action lists up to date
- Coordinate delivery teams and external suppliers
- Report progress clearly to clients and leadership
- Manage changes and close projects cleanly
Minimum qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Management or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years managing IT projects
- Current PRINCE2 Practitioner, PMP or AgilePM Practitioner
- Delivered projects of £250k+ (show scope, plan and result)
- Agile and Waterfall delivery
- Jira or MS Project, with RAID logs and budget tracking
- English at CEFR C1 or above (IELTS 7.0 or equivalent)
Expert knowledge
- Planning in depth: work breakdown, critical path and resource levelling
- Earned value management: cost and schedule variance
- RAID management and stage-gate governance
- Hybrid delivery: combining Agile sprints with fixed-scope client contracts
Preferred qualifications
- PRINCE2 Agile or PMI-ACP
- Professional Scrum Master (PSM I)
- Infrastructure or cloud migration projects
- APM Project Professional Qualification
